Good evening, Barracuda Family!

Tomorrow we swim against the Sugarwood Stingrays at their pool in Farragut. Here is their address and how to get to their pool. Please refer to Barb's recent email for PARKING, CONCESSIONS, and where we'll be sitting in the pool area. Also direct any questions concerning volunteer jobs to her.

• Be on the pool deck no later than 5:15 PM.
• Warm-ups start at 5:30 PM.
• Meet starts at 6:00 PM.

I asked many swimmers today at practice what they'd like to swim at the meet. I had to move a few things around so that the meet moves efficiently and we don't have any "holes," which means empty lanes that could be scoring points. With this being so soon after our championship meet, I wanted the kids to enjoy the meet as much as possible. With all that being said, please encourage your kids to 1) Be patient if they didn't exactly get the swims they wanted and 2) Try their best to swim legally and fast! To be clear, we are NOT "trying to lose" this meet. Last weekend was the time and place to be extremely competitive. Tomorrow is the time and place to have fun through simply trying our best. At the end of the day, this is just summer league swimming.

Once we merge the meet tomorrow, I'll email out the heat sheet and general reminders. With Smoky entries also being completed today and tomorrow, it's likely that I'm forgetting some of the things I usually communicate. So, just text me if you have any questions.
