Good evening!

This has been a long week! And it's only Tuesday!

The swim meet that was supposed to happen tonight has been rescheduled for this Thursday, June 18th. It will be at Peninsula Club's pool (2222 Houser Rd SW, Knoxville, TN 37919) instead of ours. Since we are now the visitors, our warm-ups will be at 5:30 PM. Racing will begin at 6. Plan on being on the pool deck by 5. You never know how traffic will be, and since we warm-up right before the meet starts, I need to make relay adjustments prior to warm-ups if people are missing. We still plan on recognizing our seniors and selling our own concessions despite the meet not being at "home."

Obviously, this change of plans might not work for everyone. If anybody has a change in their RSVP status—for example, you were planning to attend tonight but cannot Thursday, or, vice versa, you couldn't attend tonight but you can Thursday—I need you to text, email, or message me no later than 7 PM tomorrow night!!! If your change in attendance affects a volunteer job assignment you signed up for, you need to let Barbara Nichols know that as well so she can find someone to fill your spot. If I don't hear from you, I will assume that your plans are the same as they were for tonight in regards to "Attending" vs. "Not Attending."

As for practice tomorrow, the morning practice will be in the L-shaped outdoor pool at our normal time. Tomorrow's evening practices are TBD. We might be back in the outdoor lap pool, or we may still be at the community center. I'll let everyone know via Remind once I know.
